This morning after breakfast, begin with a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple, a serene Chinese Buddhist sanctuary that houses two exquisite jade Buddha statues brought from Burma as well as numerous cultural relics, offering a peaceful retreat from Shanghai’s modern bustle and a chance to witness monks performing traditional ceremonies. We then continue to Jin Mao Tower to enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the iconic Shanghai skyline from the 88th floor. Afterwards, visit Silk Factory to learn about China’s traditional silk-making process. Spend free time at Yuyuan Market - also known as Yuyuan Bazaar - located in the heart of Old Shanghai near the Old City God Temple, where traditional Chinese architecture surrounds a vibrant collection of shops selling local snacks, handicrafts, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques, and more. Conclude the day with a visit to an Acrobatic Show, showcasing the remarkable skill and artistry of Chinese acrobats.
