  • Day-01 ARRIVAL IN SRI LANKA – KANDY
    Arrival At the Colombo international airport, in the heart of the Pearl Island of the Indian Ocean. Pls. wait at the airport for the other guests coming from different Parts of India who will be your co-travellers in this amazing cultural journey and holiday. We meet and greet Namaste, Satshriakal, Aslam Valekum, Vanakam, Hello, Jai Shri Krishna, Juley and now Ayubowan, the SriLankan Way of Greeting & Getting Together!!

    At 1400 Hrs: Our representative will meet and greet all the guests and assist with the transfer to Kandy. Guests, who need separate transfer, due to arriving late /do not wish to wait, can do so by paying the additional supplement for Transfers. Transfer to Kandy, the cultural capital, and the last kingdom of the country. Vegetarian Indian lunch at an outside restaurant on the way to Kandy. Check-in to the hotel in Kandy for a relaxing evening and dinner at the hotel.

    Wakeup to a beautiful Kandy morning. Breakfast at the hotel and Visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage en-route, where the orphan elephants who cannot be released to the wild for various reasons are kept. Visit to Spice garden to learn about Sri Lanka's one of the most treasured culinary secrets. Enjoy free (optional) head massage at the spice garden for a relaxing experience. Visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic for early morning blessing. Visiting a Kandy batik factory is a great opportunity to discover this intricate technique. Batik has been both an art and a craft for centuries. In Sri Lanka, some of the finest batik cloth in the world is made here.

    Vegetarian Indian lunch in an outside restaurant in Kandy or similar based on the availability.

    Visit to the gem arcade and museum to learn the secrets of Sri Lanka's centuries old popular export. Kandy city tour followed by the Cultural show in the evening, where traditional Kandyan dancers perform their centuries-old dancing routines. Back to the hotel for the dinner and the overnight stay.

    Breakfast at the hotel before hitting the road to transfer to Nuwara Eliya, legendary tea country in central highlands. Journey from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya itself would be an experience to savor due to beautiful sceneries and the landscape surrounding the road. Nuwara Eliya was the preferred holiday destination for the British civil servants and planters during the colonial time due to its cool climate. Visit Ramboda Falls, the viewpoint and Sri Hannuman Temple on the way.

    Vegetarian Indian lunch at outside restaurant or packed food. Visit Labookellie Estate Tea Factory, renowned for producing some of Ceylon's finest Teas and the estate itself, established nearly 150 years ago. After learning the manufacturing process indulge yourself with a high tea at the Damro Labookellie Tea Lounge with option to buy tea from one of its finest sources. Having a leisure time at Gregory Park and roam around ae at the Gregory Lake, where you can enjoy catching the chilling breeze on your face and see the Nuwara Eliya City from the lake. Visit Sitha Amman Temple where latter is a part of the Ramayana history.

    Breakfast at the hotel ahead of another scenic journey to Bentota. Bentota is the most popular resort town in Sri Lanka and fast becoming the water sports capital of the country. Popular among the visitors looking for golden sandy beaches and some adventure in water sport. Upon reaching Bentota, check-in to the hotel and spend a relaxing rest of the day enjoying the best commodities Sri Lanka can offer, the sunshine and the beautiful beaches. Dinner and the overnight stay at the hotel.

    Wake up to the sound of morning waves crashing onto the shore and prepare for an action-packed day. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a journey to explore the southern part of this paradise island.

    Kick off the day with an adrenaline rush by indulging in water sports on the Bentota River, which offers a wide range of activities suitable for beginners to professionals. Try exciting experiences like Fly Fish, Jet Ski, Wakeboard, Water Ski, Banana Boat, Kneeboard, and more, all conducted under the supervision of trained and experienced professionals.     Next, discover the Madu River estuary on a riverboat safari and immerse yourself in the rich biodiversity of its complex ecosystem. Visit nearby turtle hatcheries, where various institutions and individuals run conservation programs for sea turtles.

    Enjoy a vegetarian lunch at an outside restaurant or as a packed meal.

    Proceed to Galle, the charming capital of the southern province. Explore the Dutch Fort and uncover its colonial history. The Galle Dutch Fort is one of the best-preserved colonial forts in the country and overlooks the famous Galle Cricket Stadium. Visit the Maritime Museum to learn how the sea has shaped the lives of people in this coastal region.

    In the evening, a special musical evening is planned for two hours, including 2 Snacks per person and soft drinks. After the session transfer to hotel.

    Dinner will be served at the hotel buffet.
    Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Colombo. Colombo is the commercial capital and the largest city of Sri Lanka. A vibrant city recently has gone for an amazing transformation becoming one of the most attractive places in South Asia if not in the world. Our driver/guide will help you to discover Colombo and its charm during the city tour including key attractions like Gangaramaya Temple, Marina Park in Fort City, Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, Dutch Hospital, and Independence Memorial Hall. Vegetarian Indian lunch at outside restaurant or packed food With plenty of interesting attractions to visit and a wide range of dining and shopping options, Colombo will be an unforgettable experience of your travel journal. Check-in to the hotel for refreshment and relaxation before enjoying dinner at the hotel. The Colombo night life is something you can enjoy if you are happy to dance into the night with some amazing music or try your luck at the Casino table. Please ask our driver/guide and he will be more than happy to help you, guiding yourself to the best and safest of places to enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

    General Information:

    An intended Traveller visiting Sri Lanka for a short stay, must obtain ETA prior approval for their arrival.

    ETA is an official authorization for a Short Visit to Sri Lanka and is issued electronically. ETA holders will be issued a 30 day Short Visit visa at the port of entry in Sri Lanka.

    This is mandatory. Once applied, it can be tracked online.

    Confirmation will be notified, print out of which would need to be carried by traveller.

    On arrival it will be stamped on the passport.
